How we'll make your film
Interviews are the part of the process most people will either love or dread, depending on the circumstances of the film. Over the years, I’ve developed a reputation for relaxed interviews, done with sensitivity and compassion. I’ve interviewed people who are celebrating, people who are dying, people who hate being on camera (most people!) - I’ve even interviewed Sir David Attenborough in his home. So, don’t worry - you’ll look great, sound great and there’s a strong probability you’ll enjoy it. Almost everyone does.
PlanBefore you even see a camera, we’ll have a chat about what you’re hoping to create. I’ll then help you:
– Decide what information is most important to share, including who to interview – Create a plan, such as gathering relevant digitised photos, archive video or documents – We arrange a time for interview(s) |
ShootThe interview(s). Shot with a professional camera and audio, with the option for lighting, this is where your story emerges. Most interviews take less than an hour.
This is also an opportunity to gather additional, relevant shots. |
EditArmed with a wonderful interview and a collection of family mementos, the edit begins. A few days later, you receive your film - colour graded to look beautiful, photos and archive footage throughout, music inspired by your taste and graphics to provide the final polish.
You’ll then receive a link to your video which will allow you to download the video file directly. |
Estimates available on request.
